ABOUT US

We ride with you.

Who are we?

Just a cyclist is the community brand for and by Emilie Fortin, a pro cyclist based in Roquebrune Cap-Martin, France. Our clothing is designed to inspire and empower individuals to express their style. The power of cycling is that it brings people together. In addition to our cycling apparel, we wish to contribute to the growth of the cycling community.

Why?

Staying fit is the base for maintaining long term health and it is our utmost priority to encourage this lifestyle. Get out, move… and join us for a ride!

How will we do it?

We engage to produce original and performant clothing, inspired by your favorite apparel, yet unique in the detail. Our business model will be built around mouvement: our sales will be presented as a challenge, we will organize community rides in Montreal and Menton area, we will use our platforms to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Once we reach our goal in base funds, we will give out 10% of our profits, to young promising Canadian athletes. The athletes will be chosen based on their values, their ambitions and their focus.

“Just a cyclist is my way to share the passion I have for cycling with you. I am a professional cyclist. Getting sick last year put some big pressure on myself and my close support. Bringing this idea to life as I begin to feel good on the bike fulfills my wish to give back to the community that supports me and my values. This project is the child of my comeback. It has got me through my biggest failures and I hope that it will cater for my greatest success.”

“Cycling has played a big part in my life. Most of the choices I made were directed towards my dream of becoming a pro-cyclist. Beyond these ambitions, the sport gives me the balance I need and it is now my haven. Helping Emilie with this is an opportunity to see myself in a project that will contribute to the cycling community. I also love fashion. It’s a cool way to combine my passions.”
